Map of Afghanistan, Map of Egypt and Map of Cuba Help Prepare for Far-Off Trips

There are several places that I would like to visit but either are prohibited by law, at war or are just too dangerous. My hope is that someday there will be peace throughout the world and I can see all of the beautiful places that I want to.

I cannot go to Afghanistan because of the war on terror that the U.S. is fighting there. Instead, I use my Afghanistan maps to think about where I would like to go in that country. It’s landlocked in the center of Asia so it would be a great spot to use as a home-base so that I can travel throughout the region.

I’d also love to visit Egypt and to see all of the vast relics of their ancient civilization. I use my map of ancient Egypt to mark all of the locations that I would love to visit. Because of the ties that Egypt has to the middle east, I do not feel that it would be safe to vacation there.

And another place that I would like to go is to Cuba. Now that Fidel is out of office, that day might not be too far in the future. I use my maps of Cuba to show me all of the major things that the island has. After all, the word “Cuba” means “where fertile land is abundant.”

French Open Tennis is Best of Grand Slam Tournaments

I love playing tennis and I love watching it. I find that watching all of the Grand Slam tournaments keeps my personal game better because I get inspired by watching the athleticism.

I think the French Open tennis results decide who the best athlete is because the clay court makes it harder to play. The winner has to be able to really play because the ball is slowed down quite a bit.

I love watching all of them though. The Australian Open gets me pumped for the whole season. The French Open shows who is the best. Wimbledon brings elegance to the sport and the U.S. Open bring entertainment.
