Dog, Food and Maps are all I Need for Trip

I am planning a trip where I drive across the country, or at least part of it, alone. Well, I’m bringing my dog but no humans. I am thinking about spending a lot of time in the southwest part of the United States.

I have my car packed and a map of Texas, a California map and a map of Arizona. I think that after I make it through those states, if I still want to go on, I can just buy new maps for wherever I want to go.

The only problem with driving so much is that my knees start to hurt from being bent so long. I try to part and walk a few minutes but when you’re out in the desert, you really don’t have any place to park. But my dog, Lettuce, will need to get some exercise also so I guess I can just make time to stop.
