Area Rugs Make Furnishing Easy July 28th, 2008
Moving can be exhausting, especially when you have to furnish several rooms. What I did was simple. I got a shag rug for one bedroom and then I went to Ikea and got a daybed with matching dresser. Now my guestroom is furnished and ready for company.
For my office, I got 2 rugs. One for under my desk and one for the front. That way I can have the comfort under my feet when I’m working at home and I can also add personal flair to the style. I got 2 new bookshelves that were not expensive and found that my office was furnished in no time.
And for my patio, I got outdoor rugs. I put a couple of wicker chairs and a table over one and I had another room to utilize. This will come in handy around the holidays because I always have a Christmas party and I have my family over for Christmas Eve. Because I live in Arizona, the weather is nice in December and my guests will find more space to be in besides the living room.
