First Class to India September 17th, 2009

This time we want to go first class all the way! We are going to India. We decided after many trips to India this time would be first class all the way. In India they know what luxury is. The friendly and attentive service and graciousness of the hotel staff is unbeatable. The glamorous opulence of the accommodations. Our Delhi luxury trip as we called it would include first class flight to Delhi. A private car to our hotel, a suite over looking the city and something I always wanted to do. Ride the Indian railway, first class.

Having visited on business before I never had much time for any site seeing, simply in and out for business purposes and not much else. This trip t Delhi I am going to visit the Red Fort, Qutab, India Gate, Lotus Temple, Agra, Jaipur, Vrindavan, Mathura, Allahabad, Samath. I know that is a lot but I plan on being there for at least a month, maybe more depending on how thing go.

Part of the visit will include a first class train ride to Darmsala, where the Tibetan government in exile sits. It is a village int he foothills of the Himalayan mountains where the air is clear, the views spectacular and much quieter than Delhi The contrast will be great and the break from the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Our train ride will leave from Delhi, we will have our own part of a car for privacy. The scenery will be spectacular traveling through the slums of Delhi out onto the great Indian plains northward toward the Himalayan mountains. This journey can take three days of slowly chugging along the Indian country side. I am looking forward to sitting and watching out the window as the Indian landscape goes by.
